Ciara & Lake's Love Story
Ciara and Lake’s story started in 2018,
With an online chat that led to something great.
From messages to UCF days side by side,
Their connection grew along with the ride.
They shuffled between apartments back and forth,
Then settled into one of their own of course.
Three moves later and still going strong,
The years slipped by before they noticed they were gone.
They weathered the quiet of pandemic days,
Balanced by family time and better ways.
Trips, parades, renaissance fairs,
White water rafting and shared adventures everywhere.
Between audiobooks, pages and stories read,
Crafts and models spread across the table instead.
They’ve loved many hamsters along the way,
Now Hera rules the house and plans to stay.
Animal lovers through and through,
Buddy joins the fun and loves it too.
They went with Ciara’s parents to bring him home,
A joyful moment, never alone.
Buddy loves the park where they’ll say “I do,”
Especially the dog park, a favorite spot for him too.
From quirky shows judged scene by scene,
Like Siskel and Ebert, sharp and keen.
To talks of history and days today,
They learn and grow with each word they say.
Through every move and every phase,
They’ve chosen each other in steady ways.

Outdoor Celebration
Ciara and Lake are hoping for beautiful weather for their outdoor celebration. While it is often said that rain on your wedding day brings good luck, they will make all necessary arrangements to ensure their special day is comfortably hosted and surrounded by the beauty of nature, even if the weather is unpredictable.
The Setting
The park offers many beautiful spots for photos, and a playground will be available for children to enjoy throughout the day.
The Experience
Ciara and Lake have chosen a relaxed gathering without a traditional wedding timeline. Guests are encouraged to enjoy the day at their own pace, socializing, reconnecting with family and friends, and indulging in a delicious brunch together.
Gifts
Ciara and Lake have not registered for gifts, as your presence on their special day is the greatest gift of all. They simply hope you come ready to celebrate, laugh, and enjoy the day with them.
For guests who would like to offer a contribution to help the couple begin their life together as husband and wife, a wishing well will be available to drop a card or sentimental item.
